My after school coding club (called the Infinite Loop Coding Club) started two weeks ago. I hope to blog about what we're learning for the parents, because I think it's important for parents to have a connection to what their children are learning. In that way, the learning can have some longevity way past their time in this coding club. Here is the link to the first club update: http://www.coetail.com/chezvivian/2014/06/03/infinite-loop-coding-club-update-1-2/
I'll make updates every two weeks, except during the summer. The plan, at the moment, is to continue the club in the fall.
By the way, I have started a Paper Li to curate web articles about Coding in the Elementary School. Please read and subscribe if you're interested. It comes out weekly: https://paper.li/ChezVivian/1399914442 If you have some content you would like me to share through the Paper Li, please let me know in this thread and I'll add it into the next issue.
