LCL & Design Alternative Education Program: PERMIE KIDs

Hi,

I'm Jen Mendez. The Learning Creative Learning (LCL) has positively impacted how I've taken my ideas for PERMIE KIDs and put them into practice that will hopefully inspire creative learning for educators and children alike.

I made a short video about how I'm applying what I've learned in LCL to not only my life, but to an alternative educational program called PERMIE KIDs - http://www.permiekids.com. This is an educational design that seeks to empower educators (in the broadest sense of the word) and children through a passion-driven, project-based educational program designed with children, not just for them. I want to thank not only the instructors, but all the other learners as well. This course has been helpful to take my ideas and design a process that puts the 4Ps into practice. I received some great feedback and resources from the breakout panel today.

Hello Jen,

I really like your ideas and I resonate with putting the 4Ps in practice while working with children.

I'd love to find out more about the way you create directly with the children the activities. I'm working right now on a design for 9-12 years old children and I want to find new ways to encourage their creativity and independence.
