Last May 17 th, we held a mini Scratch Day. Maybe it was the first independent event in Brazil, since others are offered by big private schools, not in anual basis. It was a wonderful experience. It was a first contact with these children and my first "Scratch class". I didn't know how they would behaviour, if I would get their attention all the time or if they would go crazy playing outside with the dog. I had to insist to they have a snack breakout ! In the end they were so happy and asking for more classes. Now I have so much ideas to develop this work in Sao Paulo as well in another near city, Campinas.
I'd like to thank to @Bruno Bastos for the collaboration in this event, and many others LCLers and CCOWers: @Sandy (Sandy Colleman, US), who gentle provided many classes resourcesand ideas), @skola2015 (Anders Berggren, Sweden) , Martin Dillon (US), @sashastef (Sasha Palencia, Guatemala, for discussing and exchanging ideas before the event) @araki_hajime (Hajime Haraki, Japan), Fernando Frederico (Portugal, providing material in Portuguese and support), Aiboon Tan (Singapure, who first challenged me with this idea), Alan Yorinkis (US, with technical, hardware and software issues) and many other friends for the encouragement. Supported by such team of giants it couldn't be different than a huge success! Thank you very much to everybody!
